Description
Finished garb for my husband's character at the Bristol Renaissance faire. Drawing is here: [link]
I did not make his hat, boots, sword, frog, purse, stockings, chemise, or mug. I still plan on making a new hat for him, but until then, he'll use this one.
Brown fabric is 100% cotton, yellow is a striped 100% silk and the rust brown is a faux suede that i found to match the stocking that i bought from [link] I'm really excited how this one turned out. It's the best male costume i've ever made, and the first time making a genuine males noble garb. I didn't use any patterns, but spend a lot of time draping and fitting the fabric.
There are small semiprecious stones sewn onto the panels of the slops, which i plan to duplicate onto the jerkin eventually.
Colin is not wearing the man's bum roll in this picture yet.
